Gujrat Titans lost their pace ace Mohammad Shami for his ankle surgery. And now they have gone for his replacement in Sandeep Warrier, who previously played 5 IPL games.

Mohammad Shami underwent an ankle surgery in England after finishing as highest wicket-taker in the ICC men's Cricket world cup 2023. He also has been ruled out of the upcoming T20 world cup which is set to be commenced from 1st March in the USA and the West Indies.
Sandeep Warrier previously has played five IPL games, all for Kolkata Knight Riders. But he also has been with Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians without getting a single game. Now Sandeep Warrier will join with a pace attack which consists of Mohit Sharma, Josh Little, Umesh Yadav, Spencer Johnson, Kartik Tyagi, Darshan Nalkande and Sushant Mishra.
Gujrat Titans also will miss Australian wk batter Matthew Wade at the start of the IPL because of his Sheffield Shield final against Western Australia.
