Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are reportedly in advanced discussions with Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara to take on the role of mentor for the franchise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Gautam Gambhir's appointment as the head coach of the Indian national team has left the mentor position vacant at KKR.
