Mohit Sharma born 18 September 1988 is a former Indian cricketer. He plays for the Haryana Indian Cricket League and played in the Indian Premier League for the Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab, Gujarat Titans, and Delhi Capitals. He is a right-handed medium-fast bowler.

Domestic and IPL Career
After working with pace bowling coach Ian Pont, Sharma took 37 wickets in seven matches at an average of 23 in the 2012/13 Ranji Trophy. He was subsequently signed by IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings for the 2013 season. He played 15 matches in the 2013 Indian Premier League, taking 23 wickets.
In December 2018, he was purchased by Chennai Super Kings for Rs. 5 crore in a player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He was released by Chennai Super Kings prior to the 2020 IPL auction. At the 2020 IPL auction, he was purchased by Delhi Capitals prior to the 2020 Indian Premier League.
On March 26, 2022, Mohit was signed by the new franchise Gujarat Titans as a net bowler for the 2022 IPL season. He was bought by the Gujarat Titans at the 2023 IPL auction and made a major comeback, taking 27 wickets, the second-highest haul of the season.
In the 2024 IPL, Sharma broke the record for the worst bowling spell in IPL history by conceding 73 runs in a match against the Delhi Capitals; this unwanted distinction was previously held by Basil Thampi with his 70-run spell. Sharma finished that match with figures of 4-0-73-0.
International Career
Sharma made his international debut for India in the fourth ODI against Zimbabwe during India's tour of Zimbabwe. Sharma bowled economically (2/26 in 10 overs) and took his first wicket in the fourth over, dismissing Zimbabwe's opening batsman, Sikandar Raza. Sharma was the second Indian, after Sandeep Patil, to be named Player of the Match on his ODI debut.
