Australian T20 team's skipper Mitchell Marsh and their gun opener David Warner braced Uganda's jerseys at the Port of Spain hotel the two teams were sharing.

Both Marsh and Warner clicked photos with the players from Uganda, who will play their first World Cup ever. The Aussie squad members signed and returned the jersey to the Ugandans.

"That was a really special moment," Marsh told reporters in Barbados, where the Aussies kick off their tournament against Oman on Wednesday.

"It's things like that – it's not just about the cricket throughout these World Cups. It's about opportunity and teams having earnt the right to be here."

Marsh will lead a side that will be searching to become the first side to simultaneously hold every major men's and women's ICC trophy. While the Ugandan cricketers are making the history for their country as they'll play first ever Circket World Cup.

This tournament features 20 teams and Aussies are clubbed in Group B along with their arch-rivals England. The Group also sees - Oman, Scotland and Namibia. While Uganda are tossed in Group C along with the co-hosts West Indies, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Papua New Guinea.
