After losing badly to England, New Zealand, India, South Africa, Netherlands, and Pakistan, Bangladesh is missing one thing - luck.

Bangladesh team's star all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz thinks that the performance is so miserable because luck is not with them. In his long career, he has never seen such a dire situation. 

“No, it didn't happen like this before. As I said earlier, luck is not favoring us. See, everyone is trying, we all are practicing, we are planning but you have to have luck at the end of the day. If you are not lucky, you will never succeed. I believe in it. I don't know who else believes or not. At the end of the day, you need God's mercy. And you definitely need luck. And I believe that this will not last for long. We will come back hopefully,” Miraz said at a press conference on Tuesday (October 31) after the loss to Pakistan.

Regardless of the on-field performance, the Tigers are enjoying massive fan support in neighboring India. The gallery of Kolkata's Eden Gardens gave Bangladesh full support. Miraz added, “We all are getting frustrated. Those of us who are playing are not able to play as per the expectations but we're trying to find out how we can improve. And the other thing is that the fans of Bangladesh always watch and support us. After losing to the Netherlands, there have been many more spectators in this match. They never give up hope. Bangladesh will definitely come back, they think that. We also think the same.”
