He started with a six, followed it up with a four, and then another six. Bumrah was completely thrown off rhythm leaking 18 runs in the over. Nair capped it off with a quick double but things got tense immediately after. While completing the second run Nair brushed past Bumrah near the non-striker's end. What looked like a harmless collision turned into a heated exchange. Bumrah clearly frustrated confronted Nair sparking a verbal spat between the two. Though Nair apologized for the contact Bumrah wasn’t having any of it. He appeared to believe it was intentional and walked away unimpressed despite Nair trying to explain. As the on-field heat rose, Rohit Sharma known for his animated expressions was seen reacting to the incident from the dugout.
