As Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi look for replacements for Litton Das and Nahid Rana, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 will be a little different for a while. Both players will miss a few games because they have to play for their country in April's Test series against Zimbabwe.
The PSL Replacement Draft will take place online on Monday evening to fill these gaps. This is where teams will find short-term replacements for five players, including Litton and Nahid.

Besides Litton and Nahid, three other players will not be able to play in all of their games, so their teams will need to find short-term substitutes. Rassie van der Dussen, a batter from South Africa, was signed by Islamabad United in the Supplementary Category. Mark Chapman, a batter from New Zealand, was picked in the Platinum Category by Quetta Gladiators, and Kane Williamson, a batter from New Zealand, was signed by Karachi Kings in the Supplementary Category. Additionally, Peshawar Zalmi will need to find a full-time replacement for Corbin Bosch, who quit the PSL to sign with an IPL team.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, who is not in the Test team that is going to Zimbabwe, has been given permission to play in the entire PSL season. He will play in the event for Lahore Qalandars.
On April 11, the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will start, and the final is set for May 18. There will be games in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, and Multan. Because Bangladeshi cricketers have to balance their time between the PSL and foreign games, some team changes will be made during the event.
