South Africa have beaten New Zealand by a massive margin of 190 runs on Wednesday (1st November) in Pune. Quinton De Kock and Rassie Van Der Dussen's dual hundred with Miller's quick-fire fifty set up a massive total on the board. Later they bowlers were right on the money to defend the total and bundled the kiwis for a paltry 167.

Earlier, New Zealand skipper Tom Latham won the toss and surprisingly decided to bowl first. Being inserted to bat first, South Africa started off to a flier. Courtesy QDK and the skipper Temba Bavuma. Particularly the skipper was dealing in boundaries and raced to 24 off 28 balls before falling to Trent Boult.

But then it was the Quinton De Kock show alongside Rassie Van Der Dussen as they broke records left right and centre. The duo put on exactly 200 runs for the second wicket and took the game away from the Kiwis who lost Matt Henry due to a right hamstring injury. QDK scored his 4th hundred of this world cup as he scored 114 off 116 while Van Der Dussen went onto score a blistering 133 from just 118 balls.

Later on, a David Miller special of 53 off 30 balls powered the proteas past the 350 mark run. South Africa ended their innings on 357-4 and left a mammoth for Kiwis to climb.

In reply, Kiwis stuttered earlier as Merco Jansen was getting swing and seam. The protea pacers were cashing hard and it was tough for the kiwis for survive. And that resulted a massive top order fall from New Zealand. Devon Conway was gone for 2, while Rachin top edged to Marco Jansen, Will Young had some time on the crease but couldn’t prolong the innings. No one really stepped up for the chase and as a result, they were succumbing on 100-6.

At the end, Glenn Phillips blitzkrieg 60 from 50 deliveries helped New Zealand crossing 150 mark barrier and reduce the deificit. However they lost the match by 190 runs.
