Australia stretched lead as Khawaja and Smith on the crease. Australia are leading England by 221 runs after a rain irrupting day 3.Khawaja got his fifty and looks comfortable to face the English pacers, while the first innings centurion Smith also joined Khawaja.

Earlier the day, England were 278-4 and 138 runs away from Australia's 416. But an excellent display of fast bowling from Australia saw England losing all of their remaining 6 wickets for 46. Starc got Stokes in the very second ball of the day for 17. Harry Brook got to his fifty but a wild slash sent him packing. Josh Hazlewood got Jonny Bairstow for his 17 and England were down to the barrel. Travis Head, who covered Nathan Lyon got two wickets and England were all over for 325 and Australia got a handy lead of 91.

Australia with a lead of 91 coming out to bat in 3rd innings and their openers gave them a flying start. Usman Khawaja and David Warner laid the platform with 63 run stand. Josh Tongue struck Warner with LBW for his 25 and James Anderson got Labuschagne for his 30 and Australia soon became 123-2.

Australia have a lead of 221 after day 3 of Lord's test and they've their entire batting lineup in their hutch with Smith and on song Khawaja is on the crease. They'll be looking to stretch the lead towards 450 as they'll be missing Lyon in the fourth innings. On the other hand, England will be eyeing to wrap the Aussie batting lineup as soon as possible, otherwise the match will slip from England.
