England National Cricket Team skipper Jos Buttler has shared his thoughts on India’s unique situation of hosting all their matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After refusing to travel to Pakistan, the host nation the Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team opted to play all their games in Dubai where the conditions have favored their spin-heavy attack.

In a pre-match press conference ahead of England Cricket Team crucial match against Hashmatullah Shahidi-led Afghanistan National Cricket Team Buttler addressed India’s advantage of playing all their matches at a single venue. He hinted at the peculiarity of the arrangement, saying, "Not really. I think it's a unique tournament already, isn't it, with being hosted here with one team playing in a different place, but that's not something I'm sort of worried too much about at the moment."

Afghanistan vs England: A Must-Win Clash

Meanwhile the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 continues to heat up as Afghanistan and England prepare to face each other in a must-win clash on Wednesday February 26, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
