For the fourth and final men's Ashes Test, which begins on Wednesday at his home stadium of Emirates Old Trafford, James Anderson has been recalled to the England lineup.
Anderson will come in for Ollie Robinson in the main XI. Robinson had back problems during the triumph at Headingley and thus has been replaced by Anderson for the fourth game of the series.
For England, who need a victory in Manchester to keep their chances alive of reclaiming The Ashes, this is the only change. Jonny Bairstow will continue to play wicketkeeper in addition to Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.
However, Moeen Ali has been moved up to bat third, marking yet another dramatic alteration from the lineup that began the Headingley Test. In Leeds, Moeen batted at No. 7 in the first innings before requesting a promotion to No. 6 for the second, which allowed Harry Brook to move back to his preferred No. 5 position.
England XI for fourth Test: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Moeen Ali, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Stuart Broad, James Anderson.
