IPL 2024: KKR posts a classy tweet after SRH's heartbreaking loss in final

The highly-anticipated IPL 2024 final between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad turned out to be a mere one-sided affair as KKR completely swept the Sunrisers under their carpet at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Sunrisers Hyderabad playersBatting first, SRH were bowled out for 113 in 18.3 overs, which is the lowest-ever total recorded in an IPL final history. In response, KKR aced down the run-chase in just 10.3 overs.
Venkatesh Iyer was the pick of the batters in the run-chase as he top-scored with 52 off 26 balls (4 fours, 3 sixes). KKR won the game by 8 wickets to clinch the third IPL trophy and the entire players couldn't be any happier upon winning the coveted title.
Following the painful defeat, SRH admin took to X (previously known as Twitter) handle and then posted a heartbreaking emoji. Meanwhile, KKR admin chipped in with a classy response and the hearts of the cricket fraternity.
"Respect for @SunRisers. One bad game doesn't define the exceptional season you've had in any way. Some unforgettable performances, and a top #TATAIPL2024 season for the men in orange 🧡," KKR admin replied.
Mitchell Starc, the most expensive player in IPL history was adjudged the Man of the Match for registering 2/14 in 3 overs at an economy of 4.70.
