Former CSK captain MS Dhoni shared a cryptic post amid retirement rumours, which became a major talking point in social media portals. The senior pro was recently seen donning the yellow jersey in the knockout game against RCB in the league stage.

CSK legend MS DhoniUnfortunately, he failed to steer the team over the finishing line as CSK succumbed to a 27-run defeat to RCB. This heartbreaking defeat put an end to CSK's IPL campaign. Soon after CSK's exit from the tournament, speculations were rife that MS Dhoni would call curtains on his stellar IPL career. 

Meanwhile, Dhoni's close friend, Suresh Raina echoed that the veteran would go on to play IPL 2025. However, Dhoni hasn't told the CSK team management about his retirement. He informed the management that he will wait for a couple of months before taking the final call on his IPL career.

All of a sudden, he chipped in with a mysterious post on Facebook, which took everyone by surprise. In a partnership with Citroen, MS Dhoni posted a message which states that he is starting his own team. "Time to take the leap. It’s time to do what matters. I’m starting my own team!"

MS Dhoni's post spread like wildfire on the internet, with the majority of the users showing their love and respect to the legend. However, the fans literally have no idea on what MS Dhoni meant in his statement, with regards to starting his team but only time will give us a clear picture and clarity on what MS Dhoni is planning to do.
