Lucknow Super Giants recently suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad at the away venue. SRH chased down the target of 166 without losing a wicket at their fortress. Following LSG's defeat, the franchise's owner Sanjiv Goenka was spotted having an animated chat with captain KL Rahul.

The video clip of the same garnered the attention of the cricket fraternity. Upon watching the video, several users lashed out at Sanjiv Goenka for his behaviour towards KL Rahul. LSG captain  failed to operate at the highest level as he was questioned for his poor strike rate. 

Since then, there were reports of a potential rift between the captain and the owner. Meanwhile, LSG's head coach Justin Langer responded to the reports while speaking to RevSportz. 

During the interaction, he conceded that there was no rift between KL Rahul and Sanjiv Goenka before adding that they are the calmest and the most peaceful men he has ever met on the planet. 

"I was so surprised by the reaction. It was incredible. I thought about it a lot for the last four days. There are not very many surprises in my life. I have had four surprises in my life. They were the four sexes of my daughter, when they were born, because I had no idea. And they kept coming out. I said, ‘It’s a girl’. Four girls but we didn’t know. It was a great surprise, as we did not know. When I saw the reaction the other night, it was the fifth surprise of my life," Langer stated.

LSG head coach further elborated, "Anyone who knows Mr Goenka or KL Rahul knows they are the calmest and most peaceful men on the planet. When I saw there were some arms going about, I thought, ‘Woah, I have never seen this before.’ When I listened to the conversation, it was just about where our plan went wrong in the game, and it went wrong."
