The 13th edition of the Indian Festival contest has been at its best. It is beyond the expectations which we witnessed on many occasions during the league. Be it Trent Boult who gave the breakthrough during the powerplay overs or be it AB de Villiers who stood till the end of the innings for RCB in the Eliminator against Hyderabad. With a lot of magnificent performance to add, we have selected a playing XI which consists of overseas players of IPL 2020. 1. David Warner The left-handed batsman from Australia will open the innings in this team. Warner has the ability to play till the end of the innings and can score runs at a brisk pace. In this season, Warner has amassed 548 in his 16 outings runs that he played at an average of around 40. Moreover, he took the game single-handedly on many occasions due to the failure of SRH's middle-order which cost them to lose the match. 2. Quinton de Kock The wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock will be the other opener along with David Warner. Quinton de Kock has scored 503 runs in 16 games and his strike-rate is well over 140. He scored 53 runs in the match which helped his team to win the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Caribbean giant has amassed 288 runs in his seven appearances at an average of well over 40. 4. Nicolas Pooran Nicolas Pooran is one of the clean and power hitters of the ball. He is capable of doing anything on the track and can boost the middle-order during the mid overs of the game. In the 13th edition of the cash-rich contest, Pooran has showcased his skills on numeral occasion and went on to score 353 runs with a massive strike-rate of around 170. 5. Eoin Morgan The skipper of the England limited-overs team, Eoin Morgan, has the ability to handle the pressure in crunch situations. However, he has chosen as a batsman in this team due to the brilliant captaincy of David Warner who led his side till 2nd Qualifiers. Still, the World-Cup winning captain has a lot of experience in his pocket which makes him one of the best players in the limited-overs format. Morgan has scored over 400 runs from fourteen matches he played. 6. Jason Holder Jason Holder is one of the talented all-rounders West Indies has ever produced. The poor performance of Vijay Shankar with both the bat and ball has opened the way for Holder to don the orange jersey along with David Warner and co. He has picked up 14 wickets after playing seven games in the cash-rich contest. 7. Sam Curran Sam Curran is fondly known as the "Chutti Kuzhandai", Sam Curran is the kind of player who can be added to any of the teams. In the 2020 IPL, Sam Curran represented the Dhoni-led side Chennai Super Kings which is one of the best-performing sides in the history of IPL. The youngster showcased his talent by contributing well with both the bat and ball as he scored 186 runs and plucked 13 scalps so far in the tournament. 8. Rashid Khan The leggie from Afghanistan has the ability to do anything on the field. He can take wickets and can maintain his economy well below 6 and will also hit some crucial sixes by coming lower down the order. In this season, the Afghan has been at his best with the ball as he bagged 20 scalps while his economy rate is hovering below 6. Without any doubt, Rashid Khan is one of the valuable players to be added to this team. 9. Jofra Archer Jofra Archer has become a nightmare for many batsmen whoever faced him at any format of the game. His scary bouncers with brisk pace make him one of the toughest and feared bowlers to face. The England pacer has been ferocious this season as he went on to bag 20 wickets from just 14 outings. Moreover, like Rashid Khan, he can also clear the fence during the slog overs of the game. 10. Kagiso Rabada The Purple Cap holder of IPL 2020, Kagiso Rabada is one of the best bowlers who can trouble the batsmen in both powerplay and death overs. The young gun can give the breakthrough whenever his team needs and can be a go-to-man for any skipper all around the globe. He has bagged 30 wickets this season which clearly shows that he is an asset for any team. 11. However, the fans didn't expect that Nortje can represent the Delhi side in the 13th edition of the league. Still, he proved himself on many occasions by picking up wickets during the powerplay and slog overs. The South African has been good with the ball and picked up 22 wickets for his team so far in the league.
