This victory cements India's position as the third team to advance to the next round, joining South Africa and Australia.

India's bowling attack held the USA to a modest score of 110 runs, allowing for a comfortable chase. Suryakumar Yadav contributed significantly to India's victorious run chase, recording an undefeated half-century. His consistent innings of 50* runs off 49 balls helped India accomplish their target of 111 runs in 18.2 overs, with seven wickets in hand.

The ICC has announced the venue and date of one of India's Super 8 matches. India will face Australia on June 24, 2024, at the prestigious Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia. This match between two of cricket's biggest countries is sure to be exciting and might have a big impact on the tournament's result.
