ICC announces match officials for WTC final
New Zealand's Chris Gaffaney and England's Richard Illingworth will be on-field umpires. Besides, English umpire Richard Kettleborough will be seen as a TV umpire. Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka will serve as the fourth umpire.

New Zealand's Chris Gaffaney and England's Richard Illingworth will be on-field umpires. Besides, English umpire Richard Kettleborough will be seen as a TV umpire. Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka will serve as the fourth umpire. Richie Richardson of West Indies will be the match referee.
Both Gaffaney and Illingworth are experienced umpires in international cricket. The final match of the upcoming Test Championship is going to be Gaffaney's 49th Test match. On the other hand, this match is going to be the 64th Test match for Illingworth. Both are umpires on the Emirates ICC Elite Panel.
This will be the second consecutive Test Championship final for Kettleborough. He was also the TV umpire in the final between India and New Zealand. The match was played in Southampton, England.
The much-awaited final match between India and Australia will be played at The Oval in London on June 7. 12 June has been kept as a reserve day. Both teams have started preparing for the final match.
