As Babar Azam and his men were about to launch their World Cup campaign in India, one social media influencer took it upon himself to share the activities of all the fans - and tried to find some similarities with the 1992 World Cup, when Imran Khan & Co. managed to bring home the coveted trophy.

Whenever the ICC World Cup comes around, many Pakistani cricket fans tend to look for similarities with the 1992 World Cup - where the Men in Green managed to win the coveted trophy for the only time.

With the mega event set to begin on October 5, one of the Pakistani fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a hilarious video about similarities between the Green Shirts' campaigns in the 1992 and 2023 World Cup.

India's win in the Asia Cup, injury to a Pakistan pacer, Pakistan's ODI rankings and the fact that the team captain is unmarried were some of the similarities shared in the video.

It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan team landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, India from Dubai on Wednesday to take part in the mega event.

They also played a warm-up game which they lost to New Zealand by five wickets on Friday.

The Green Shirts will play Australia in their second warm-up game on October 3rd before beginning their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6th.
