According to the statement signed my organization’s General Secretary, Debabrata Paul, a fund is being formed in a joint effort of current and former cricketers, cricket organizers and all cricket fans living in and outside the country. This fund will be spent for poor and helpless people.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon has been appointed as the advisory committee head of the program. The Advisory Committee also includes former two cricketers- Tanvir Mazhar Islam Tanna and Enayet Hossain Siraj and BCB director Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby.
In order to make the CWAB’s initiative a success, a convening committee has been convened calling on the President and former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team, Naimur Rahman Durjoy. Another former captain and Vice-President of the CWAB, Khaled Mahmud Sujan, current ODI captain
