Cricket Australia (CA) announce the fixtures for the 2019-20 home season on Tuesday, May 7. New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England and India will visit Australia during a pressed home summer season that keeps running from September 2019 to late March 2020 for the first time in 41 years. They will play against New Zealand three ODIs for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy in the middle of March which was supposed to happen in January. Australia will travel India in January as CA failed to deal with the India Cricket Board as they declined to shift their home series. Australia men’s team will begin their schedule against Sri Lanka in Men’s Gillette T20 Intl series. They will play three twenty20 internationals which will begin from 27 October at Adelaide Oval which will be followed by the another three match twenty20 series against Pakistan scheduling to start from November 3. They will also play two-match Test series against Pakistan after that from November 21 to December 3. Then Australia will host New Zealand for a three match test series and the first match of the series at Perth will be day-night Test following by the boxing day test at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and then the last test at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The Boxing Day Test at the MCG will be the first among Australia and New Zealand since 1987. At the end, Australia will wrap up their season on May 20 when New Zealand will return to play the three-match ODI series against the Aussies which will start on May 13 and end on May 20. Australia women's team will play against India, England and Sri Lanka. The No 1 positioned group in women's T20Is will open the season on September 29 with three matches against Sri Lanka pursued by three ODIs. After the Women's Big Bash League, Australia will play two T20 series against England and India.
