The second and final match of the two-match Test series between hosts New Zealand and visiting Bangladesh starts on Sunday (January 9). Bangladesh are 1-0 up in the series after winning the first match by 8 wickets.
Bangladesh have never won a series on New Zealand soil. Therefore, this match will go down into the books of history if the Tigers manage to pull off something special. Even a draw will result in a series victory for the visitors.
The pitch in Christchurch is more than likely to assist the fast bowlers. There will be a specialist spinner in this match too. At least one change is definitely coming in the playing XI. Young opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy is ruled out of this match due to injury. Mohammad Naim is in line to get his Test debut.
This will be Ross Taylor's last match for New Zealand. The legendary Kiwi batter has been one of the pillars of his team for many years.
