Bangladesh women's team's success against India's women's team is a joy in the cricket arena. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced to award women cricketers this time. All in all, the BCB will award 35 lakhs BDT to the players, coaches, and staff of the women's team.

BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon confirmed the awarding of the women's team while facing the media on Sunday. He said that the team will be given 35 lakhs BDT for the success against India. Besides, those who have done well like Fargana Hoque, Marufa Akter will be awarded separately. In that case, each cricketer will get 2 lakhs BDT. Besides, BCB President said that the coaches will also be awarded separately.

The Tigresses played three T20Is and three ODIs during the Indian women's team's tour of Bangladesh. India secured the series win by winning the first two matches of the T20I series. However, Bangladesh turned around in the third match.

The team created history by defeating India in the first match of the ODI series. After that India won the second match but the hosts again squeezed them in the last match. The match ended in a draw as well as the series also.
