Bangladesh HP team lost to Pakistan Shaheens after defeating Northern Territory Strike in an ODI match on the Australia tour. Batting first, HP was all out for just 78 runs. Shaheens won by 8 wickets.
HP could not take advantage of going down to bat first. Two openers Jisan Alam and Tanzid Hasan Tamim returned to the dressing room within the first two overs. The others could not do much either. No one could go up to 20 runs in the entire innings. Only 4 batters managed to reach the double-digit score.
Parvez Hossain Emon played an innings of 19 runs off 30 balls. Shamim Hossain scored 13 runs. Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby played an innings of 12 runs off 26 balls. Abu Haider Rony scored 10 runs from 16 balls. After 24.3 overs HP were all out for 78 runs.
Mohammad Imran Jr took 3 wickets for Shaheens. Khurram Shahzad, Jahandad Khan and Mubasir Khan took 2 wickets each.
Shaheens did not have to get much speed to reply. They reached the port of victory easily. Pakistan Shaheens won by 8 wickets with 196 balls in hand. Usman Khan was unbeaten by playing an innings of 39 runs from 45 balls for the team. Ripon Mondol took 2 wickets for HP at the cost of 30 runs.
