Anamul creates DPL history crossing 1000 runs in a season
After the completion of the fourth round of Super League edition of DPL 2022, Anamul has 1042 runs at an average of 80.15 and strike rate 97.47 with three tons and eight fifties in 14 matches.

Anamul Haque, who is having a prime time in domestic cricket, has become the first-ever player to score 1000 runs in a single edition of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL).
In a dream season for Prime Bank Cricket Club, opener Anamul has surpassed four-figure mark with the bat. He had already broken Saif Hassan's record of 814 runs in 2019. On Tuesday, he stretched further by scoring his 1000th run in the season - applauded by crowd at BKSP-4, Savar.
Anamul struck unbeaten 112 off 84 with 11 fours and 6 sixes to give his side a 10-wicket win over Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club, chasing 230 in 26.4 overs. His opening partner Tamim Iqbal made 109 off 81, becoming first Bangladeshi to 20th List A hundred and 10,000 runs in the format.

The 29-year-old wicketkeeper-batter also bowled a few overs in two matches, taking two wickets.
