The sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League came to a close, in what turned out to be the best climax in the history of the competition. The two best teams locked horns with each other in the high-voltage encounter, which gave the fans a spine-chilling experience through and through.

Mumbai Indians were the first runners-up of this competition and they received INR 7 crore. On the other hand, Shubman Gill finished the tournament with 890 runs and deservedly won the Orange Cap.
