Bangladesh cricketers Ziaur Rahman and Shohidul Islam have been picked by Northern Warriors in the 2024 Abu Dhabi T10 League player draft. Both players were selected in the 'C' category, with Shohidul being chosen first, followed by Ziaur. While this will be Shahidul’s debut in the T10 format, Ziaur is no stranger to the league, having played for the same team last season, featuring in five matches.

In addition to Ziaur and Shohidul, two more Bangladeshi stars will participate in the tournament. Shakib Al Hasan and Towhid Hridoy will represent the Bangladesh-owned franchise, Bangla Tigers. Shakib has been named the team’s icon player, while Hridoy was selected in the 18th round of the draft.

The 2024 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 2. This season, the number of participating teams has increased from eight to ten.
