The Dhaka Premier League (DPL) 2024 has been concluded finally where Abahani Limited crowned as the champion. This year, there were some good bowling shows in the DPL with Rejaur Rahman Raja concluding the tournament with 8 wickets in an innings.

Pacers have shown dominance in this year’s top 5 wicket-takers list. Abu Hider Rony of Mohammedan Sporting Club finishes the tournament as the highest wicket-taker with 31 wickets in 16 innings. He has a bowling average of 19.06 and a bowling economy of 4.91.

Gazi Group Cricketers pacer Ruyel Miah comes next with 28 wickets in 15 innings at an average of 19.64 and an economy of 4.76. Pacer Hasan Mahmud of Prime Bank Cricket Club is in third place. He took 26 wickets in 14 innings with an average of 22.76 and an economy of 5.29. Nazmul Islam Apu who is fourth in this list with 25 wickets in 15 innings is the highest wicket-taker among the spinners. At 5, there is also a spinner – Nasum Ahmed. He got 24 wickets in 16 innings.

The best bowling-figure was registered by pacer Rejaur Rahman Raja. He grabbed 8 wickets for 23 runs on the final day of the event. This is the best figure among Bangladesh's bowlers in both the DPL and List A cricket.
