Two of Bangladesh's top pacers are Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam. In the Dhaka Premier League’s (DPL) current season, both are on the Abahani team. Their coach is Khaled Mahmud Sujon. 

In addition to participating in the DPL, Shoriful and Taskin were part of the same squad in the most recent Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). They were taught at the Durdanto Dhaka by Sujon. They are united again in Abahani this time. Sujon is pleased with both pacers' performance.

Abahani defeated Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 10 wickets in the DPL match today (April 18). At the end of the match, Sujon praised both of them. Sujan told the media, “Their (Taskin and Shoriful) performances speak (for them). Both are bowling well. I think our Abahani's biggest strength is our pace attack. Saifuddin (Mohammad) and Khaled (Ahmed) are sitting outside. There was Nahid Rana, I was forced to give him to Shinepukur so that the boy could play. Our pace attack is so strong that is similar to Bangladesh's pace attack. Both Taskin and Shoriful are bowling well.”

Besides, Sujon also explained a statement of the national team captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, another cricketer of the team. He added, “Captain (Shanto) has said to keep expectations low (in the T20 World Cup). What he's trying to convey is that I think a lot of times too much expectation is a burden on the team. Let them play well. I believe they will play well. They are a good team in T20 now. I believe that the Bangladesh team will play well. I want them to play pressure-free cricket.”
