Sri Lanka, Afghanistan in Bangladesh's group in Men's Emerging Asia Cup

Bangladesh women’s team went to Hong Kong last night to participate in the Women's Emerging Asia Cup. The Bangladesh High Performance (HP) unit will travel to Sri Lanka next month to play in the Men's Emerging Asia Cup. Bangladesh will have to compete in the group stage with strong teams like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
Although the schedule has not been announced yet, a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) source said that the 10-day tournament will begin on July 14. Whereas Bangladesh emerging team is not getting India-Pakistan as opponents in the group stage. The opponents in Bangladesh's group are hosts Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Oman. Where each team will face each other once.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has offered all the participating teams to Sri Lanka 2 days before the start of the tournament. However, it is known from BCB sources that Bangladesh will go and camp there a few days earlier to adapt to the weather and conditions.
In the meantime, however, Bangladesh have started preparations for the Emerging Asia Cup. HP unit completed the camp in Rajshahi after Dhaka. HP team reached Bogura today. The practice camp here will continue till June 26. After Eid-ul-Adha holiday, the Bangladesh team will leave for Sri Lanka.
