South Africa have taken down Australia to sit at No. 2 in the World Test Championship (WTC) standings.

South Africa's massive 233-run victory over Sri Lanka came on the back of some incredible performances. Hundreds from Tristan Stubbs and protea skipper Temba Bavuma and a deadly 11-fer from Marco Jansen ripped through the Lankans.

As a result, Proteas have pipped Australia and settled themselves at No. 2 with a winning percentage of 59.26. And after this devastating debalce at the Kingsmead, Sri Lanka have dropped to fifth spot from third with a winning percentage of 50.

India however are the table toppers, their historic victory over Australia in Perth have helped them reclaim the top spot. Australia have found themselves in a tough position as they've slipped to third position after Perth defeat and Proteas rise.

South Africa have three more Test matches, one against Sri Lanka and another two against Pakistan. All thr matches are at home. While the Aussies have four matches against India and an away Test series against Sri Lanka.
