At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Legends of Rupganj beat Brothers Union by 10 runs using the DLS method in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL).

After losing the toss, Rupganj was put in to bat and scored 277 runs, which was a good score.  Opener Soumya Sarkar got things going with an easy 80 off of 79 balls, and Mahmudul Hasan Joy was a strong backup with 59 off of 55 balls.  The score was raised when wicketkeeper and hitter Jaker Ali Anik hit 44 runs off of 49 balls.

The best bowler for Brothers Union was pacer Yeasin Arafat Meshu, who took 3 wickets.

Brothers had a tough start to their response, and both Bishal Choudhury and Mizanur Rahman were out for golden ducks.  Mahfijul Islam Robin, the opener, kept one end. He scored 76 runs off of 108 balls, and Aich Mollah added 47.

The lower order made a comeback. Myshukur Rahaman hit 46 off of 32 balls very quickly, and Sumon Khan was still perfect on 34 off of 25 balls.  Brothers had made it to 260/8 after 48.4 overs when rain stopped the game.

The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern (DLS) method was used to pick the winner since there was no more play to be done.  It was decided that Legends of Rupganj won by 10 runs.

With the ball, Shoriful Islam was the star for Rupganj. He took an amazing six wickets, which turned the game in their favour in the end.
