English spinner Shoaib Bashir is going to make his debut in Visakhapatnam in the second match of the five-match Test series between India and England. Besides, experienced pacer James Anderson is returning to the XI. On the eve of the match, England announced the playing XI according to their policy.  

England announced the XI of Visakhapatnam Test by making 2 changes from the XI of the Hyderabad Test. Both changes are in the bowling unit. Like the previous match, England will enter the field with 1 pacer and 3 spinners. Shoaib Bashir has been included in the XI in place of spinner Jack Leach who was ruled out due to injury. Bashir, a 20-year-old spinner, had to burn a lot of wood and overcome visa complications to reach India. Bashir is also getting a taste of Test debut in the second match.

Besides, the experienced pacer James Anderson has been taken in the XI instead of pacer Mark Wood. Wood could not benefit by playing as the only pacer in Hyderabad, was wicketless. England is going to trust Anderson in Visakhapatnam. The players who played in the previous match are in the rest of the XI.

India and England gave birth to a historic Test match in Hyderabad. India showed one-sided dominance on the first two days of the match. On the third day, Ollie Pope's impeccable century turned England around. Pope stopped after playing a great innings of 196 runs. Debuted English spinner Tom Hartley crushed India by picking up 7 wickets in the second innings for England. And as a result of such a remarkable example of England's comeback, India eventually lost the match by 28 runs even after taking a lead of 190 runs in the first innings. England was finally able to bring down the irresistible India at home with baseball cricket.

England is currently leading the five-match series 1-0. The second match of the series will be played tomorrow, February 2, in Visakhapatnam.
