The first innings of Fortune Barishal vs Minister Group Rajshahi has been a complete highlight package as Kamrul Islam Rabbi bagged a hat-trick following Najmul Hossain Shanto's smashing hundred. Shanto hits 109, falls to hat-trick man Kamrul

This is the first three-figure score and also a hat-trick in Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020. Najmul recorded a 52-ball ton, the joint third fastest by a Bangladeshi in T20Is. He hit Taskin Ahmed for a six in the cow corner to bring up his second T20 century. Earlier this year, he made 115* against Dhaka Platoon for Khulna Tigers in the BPL. The Rajshahi captain's knock ended on 55-ball 109 runs as he clobbered 11 sixes and 4 fours in his innings. He was involved in 131-run opening stand with Anisul Islam Emon, the highest partnership in the tournament. The duo of Shanto and Anisul gave Rajshahi a perfect start after being sent into bat. The made the highest powerplay score - 64/0. Minister Group Rajshahi put on 220/7 in 20 overs, the first 200-plus total in the T20 Cup. Barishal pacer Rabbi took four of the seven Rajshahi wickets, and all four came in the last over of the innings. Rabbi first sent back Nurul Hasan Sohan for 12 on the first ball of the over. Centurion Shanto hit straight to cover fielder Tamim Iqbal on the next delivery. Farhad Reza slogged the hat-trick ball to long-off. Mohammad Saifuddin hit Kamrul for a boundary and then departed as the fourth wicket in the over. Fazle Mahmud hit the last ball for a six over extra cover as Kamrul finished on 4 for 49. Al-Amin Hossain (twice), Aliss Al Islam and Manik Khan were the previous Bangladeshi bowlers to take a hat-trick in T20 cricket.
