Former England pacer legend Stuart Broad has expressed admiration for Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, calling him one of his favorite bowlers in the world.

Recently retired England seamer Stuart Broad revealed that Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of his favorite bowlers to watch. The 37-year-old said that Afridi's run-up was something very special.

Shaheen made a memorable debut of the tournament as the pacer took wickets on his first two shots in his debut game and sent off experienced Phil Salt and Laurie Evans.

The right-arm pacer, who has been a critical member of the Nottinghamshire Outlaws over the years, expressed his admiration for Shaheen Afridi during an interview with the Pakistani bowler. It's interesting to note that Shaheen represented the Outlaws during the T20 Blast earlier this year.

The left seaman, who made his Hundred debut with Welsh Fire, received high praise from Broad. The former England bowler revealed that Shaheen is one of his favorite bowlers and someone with natural skills.

Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of my favorite bowlers in the world. He has such a great presence coming in and I love it when bowlers come in full of energy and vibrancy on the run up," Broad was quoted as saying.

"He's got such a natural skills - it's a real pleasure to watch him swing the ball back to his right-handers." And he represented Notts Outlaws this summer, which is close to my heart. He's one of those bowlers that I admire a lot and I want him to perform well," he added.

After this tournament, Shaheen Shah Afridi will participate in the Asia Cup 2023, which will be played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan from August 30th to September 17th. There, Pakistan meets Nepal for the opener match to be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.

After the Asia Cup, Shaheen Shah Afridi will take part in the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India from October 5th. The first game will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
