Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs on Friday (24th May) at MA Chidambaram Stadium and reached to the finals of IPL 2024. Fifty from Heinrich Klaasen and a quick-fire cameo from number three batter Rahul Tripathi helped SRH post a competitive total of 175 on the board. In reply, Shahbaz Ahmed and Abhishek Sharma ran riot through the RR's middle order to hand SRH a thumping 36 run victory to help SRH reach into the finals of IPL 2024.

From being 10th in the IPL 2023 to the finalist of IPL 2024. 
Being asked to bat first, Abhishek Sharma started rapidly as he raced his way to 12 off 5 before falling to Trent Boult in the first over. Rahul Tripathi came and started to breath fire with his blazing knock, he ignited the fire and blasted 37 off just 15 balls before falling to Boult. In reply, Tom Kohler- Cadmore gave RR a sluggish his as he consumed 16 balls only to score 10 runs, this knock played a huge negative role in the big chase. Yashasvi Jaiswal on the contrary, made 42 off 21 to give RR a solid start. But the introduction of spin from captain Cummins changed the scenario of the game.

Abhishek and Shahbaz Ahmed ran riot in the middle overs to trigger the collapse and RR collapsed horribly as they slipped from 67-3 to 92-6. Captain Samson, Riyan Parag, Ashwin, Powell all flopped horribly infront of the quality spin.

Now Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the final of IPL 2024 on Saturday (26th May) in Chennai.
