Sarfaraz being considered for T20 World Cup

According to Misbah, Sarfaraz was under consideration for the grandest event of the 20-over format.
While talking to Geo News, Misbah said that the 32-year-old is performing well in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), and added that the wicketkeeper-batsman is on track with his fitness, which could lead to a possible call up to the national team.
Sarfaraz is representing Quetta Gladiator in the 5th PSL edition as their captain.
"Sarfaraz has been playing very well in the PSL 2020 and he is also fit,"
said Misbah.
Sarfaraz has had scores of 9, 3*, 33, 37* and 41 respectively in his last five outings for Quetta Gladiators in the PSL.
The former Pakistan skipper was revoked of his role of leading the national side in Test and T20 cricket in October last year over his poor fitness and declining performance of the team.
Meanwhile the Pakistan head coach furthermore indicated that there will be additional matches following the conclusion of the PSL 2020 in order to determine who gets picked in the World Cup squad.
