's one of the all-time great batsmen and the living legend Kumar Sangakkara has continued with his sublime form, as he scored 70 runs off 42 deliveries for Surrey against Middlesex at Lord’s.
During the process, Sangakkara smashed three maximums and six boundaries. His aggressive batting display did entertain the fans but one of his sixes smashed the mobile phone of a spectator.
Fortunately, no further damage was done and the fan was able to see the funny side of it - chuckling along with those gathered around him.
Steve Finn was bowling this over and the 39-year-old batsman smashed a short pitched delivery that was going from him over cover region that hit the phone of a person sitting in stands.
The fan couldn’t do much about it as he just gave a smile and showed his broken phone on the big screen.
Eventually in the match, Middlesex handed Surrey a narrow one-wicket defeat before a near sell-out 27,205 London derby crowd at a floodlit Lord's.
This is not the first time for such incident to take place in the ongoing NatWest T20 Blast 2017. Just a day prior to this latest occurence, a spectator had seen his drinks table cast to all parts by Sussex's David Wiese.
