The national Test squad left for Sydney on Thursday and is expected to reach its destination in around 10 to 12 hours.


The Pakistan Test team began its journey to Australia from Lahore on Thursday morning and arrived in Sydney early morning on December 1. Under the leadership of Shan Masood, the team will immediately travel to Canberra after arriving in Sydney.

The team will reach Sydney via Dubai and then travel from Sydney to Canberra. The squad consists of eighteen players, two members, Dr. Sohail and Shahid Aslam, will join the squad later.

Pakistan is scheduled to play a three-match Test series against Australia between December 2023 and January 2024.

After arriving in the Australian capital, the team is expected to begin training sessions from 10am local time on Sunday, December 3rd. Following the training session, the media will have a chance to hear from Pakistan pace sensation Shaheen Shah Afridi at 12:45 p.m.

A captain's call and trophy photoshoot will be held on December 5 at the prestigious Manuka Oval in Canberra with Nathan McSweeney and Shan Masood, captains of PM XI and Pakistan team respectively.

At the same time, Prime Minister's XI will take part in a training session from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm while Pakistan will take to the field for their training session from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The four-day match between Pakistan and PM XI is scheduled to begin on December 6 at the Manuka Oval in Canberra with the first ball expected to be bowled at 10:30am.
