The Pakistani team have set a new record by scoring the fastest team century ever in Test cricket. This historic feat was achieved during the second friendly of the two-match series against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Colombo.
Pakistan managed 100 runs in 16.4 balls, which is the fastest team first-inning hundred in Test matches in the 21st century.
In the first bowling, the national team beat the home side for 166 runs thanks to a fantastic bowling performance by Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed.
In response, the side led by Babar Azam started the innings with an aggressive style, notching a record in just 16.4 overs (100 balls) in the first hundred runs.
It is worth noting that it is the first time in the 21st century that the Pakistan team scores their first hundred in 100 balls, making it the fastest team in the 21st century.
The visiting side previously lost Imam-ul-Haq as he only completed six runs, but Shan Masood and Abdullah Shafique put on a great performance.
