NCL: Chittagong picked up a big win in just two days

Chittagong division have defeated Sylhet division by a huge margin of 9 wickets playing just 133.2 overs in the whole match in the third round of National Cricket League (NCL).
The third round of the NCL started last Saturday. However, the first two days of the match between Sylhet division and Chittagong division had been delayed due to rain. Finally, on the third day, the two teams met at the Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi. In this two-day match, Irfan Hossain's allrounding craft helped Chittagong to defeat Sylhet by 9 wickets in Rajshahi.
Irfan's bowling gun went down so fast as Sylhet got all out by scoring just 163 runs in the first innings. Captain
(42), Imtiaz Hossain (25), Zakir Hossain (23) and Anamul Haque Jr (5) scored significant scores only. Except them, No one could go to the two-digit score. Irfan alone took six wickets for Chittagong.

Chittagong declared their first innings at just 229 runs with a lead of 66 runs with the help of Pinak Ghosh’s century. Apart from Pinak, Sadikur Rahman and Mahidul Islam scored 37 runs and 29 runs respectively. Abu Zayed took four wickets for Sylhet.
Trailing by 66 runs, Sylhet was vulnerable from the beginning of the second innings. With the help of
’s bowling assault, Chittagong restricted Sylhet in just 109 runs in the second innings. And Sylhet gave Chittagong a small target of 44 runs. Captain Alok Kapali scored 31 runs for Sylhet. Mehedi took five wickets for Chittagong. Irfan and Hasan Mahmud took two wickets each.
Irfan chased down the target easily with a little destructive innings of 26 runs off just 16 balls. Apart from him, Pinak Ghosh and Syedur Rahman scored 10 and 8 runs respectively.
