Mohammed Kaif reckons that Virat Kohli picked up lessons from the errors he committed in the recent meetings against Bangladesh. The right-handed batsman faced issues in dealing with the left-arm spinners in the past and Kaif hopes that Kohli prepares well such that he can tackle the spin challenge this time around.

Shakib Al Hasan who is one of the most experienced all-rounders in the history of the game has troubled Virat Kohli in the past. Bangladesh's linchpin got rid of Virat Kohli five times in 11 ODI innings, which clearly goes to show that Shakib Al Hasan did pose a major threat to Kohli, more often than not.

Team India will play against the Bangladesh national cricket team on October 19 (Thursday) at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Recently, Bangladesh's team director Khaled Mahmud revealed a health update on Shakib Al Hasan, adding that the latter is doing well and pain-free.

The experienced cricketer sustained a slight quad tear during the game against New Zealand but still showed grit and determination to continue fielding and bowl his full quota of 10 overs. Recently, reports were rife that Shakib remains a doubtful starter for the upcoming clash against India.

However, the team is confident that their skipper will get fit in time to play the game. If Shakib plays, he will be at his impressive best to trouble India's key batters. 

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kaif, during a discussion with Star Sports, said, "I remember when he (Kohli) went to Bangladesh, he was trapped. The spinners, especially Shakib, troubled him. When the ball comes in with the angle and turns from right in front of you, it causes difficulties."

He further added, "Shakib is a good bowler but Taskin will also bowl bouncers. The two times he has been dismissed in Chennai and the last match, they were hard-ball bouncers. However, you always prepare for spin because whenever you play against Bangladesh, you will get Shakib and Miraz. They have a lot of spin."
