Mohammad Amir Among Five Players granted NOCs by PCB for Franchise Cricket

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to five national cricketers, including Mohammad Amir, to participate in franchise leagues abroad.
On December 9, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) approved several No Objection Certificates (NOCs) allowing Pakistani cricketers to participate in international leagues. Among them, Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali will compete in the upcoming Lanka T10 Super League, scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka at Pallekele from December 11 to 19, 2024.
Amir, who last represented Pakistan in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, is all set to participate in the Lanka T10 Super League 2024 as he, along with Asif Ali, Umar Akmal and Imran Khan Sr., have been given the green light by the PCB.
Amir will represent Jaffna Titans in the upcoming tournament while Asif will be part of the Colombo Jaguars squad.
All five players who received NOCs from the PCB are not part of the active Pakistan national cricket team and are not expected to take part in the upcoming tour of South Africa, scheduled to last from December 10, 2024 to January 7, 2025.
