Opting to bat first, Oman posted 150 on the board after a good last over. There were two pivotal contributions in the Oman's innings. One from the opener Pratik Athavale, who held on one end together and scored a fine 54 off 40 deliveries, including 2 sixes and 5 boundaries. And another one from was, down the order's Ayaan Khan, who scored a crucial 41 off 39. Barring these two, skipper Naib Ilyas also was fluent in his short stay, hammering 16 off 6 deliveries.
For Scotland, every bowler chipped in, but Safyaan Sharif came as the standout bowler as he picked up two wickets to his name.
In pursuit of a middling 151, Michael Jones departed earlier to Bilal Khan. However, Munsey and McMullen took the onus on their shoulders thereafter. McMullen stayed till the end and brought up a blistering fifty to power Scotland to a thumping victory over Oman, to go on top of the Group B's table. While his partner, Munsey scored a powerful cameo of 41 off 20 balls to help side have a massive margin win.
