Marco JansenBrook smashed a superb 171 during the first innings of England's eight-wicket victory over New Zealand in Christchurch and claimed two spots to move to second on the updated rankings for Test batters. But Indian youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal has dropped to fourth. Kamindu Mendis has gained two spots to move to seventh for Test batters.
England captain Ben Stokes upped seven places to 34th, while Protea skipper Temba Bavuma has reached to his career-best ratings. He reached to tenth position in the updated Test batting rankings.
