Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya spoke after a much needed victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mumbai Indians chased down the 173 posted by SRH with 7 wickets and 16 deliveries in hand, courtesy of a magnificent century from Suryakumar Yadav.
Hardik said, "I don't know the mathematical situation we need to go through but happy with how we went today."
In regards to the match, Pandya said, "Gave 15-20 runs extra but batting was excellent. My bowling - I do the stuff I do. I like bowling good areas and see how it goes. Today it was nipping around and that worked."
This is what Hardik said in regards to Piyush Chawla, "The wickets Piyush took are guys who can take the game away. He asked to long from the shorter side but had to adjust. In T20s, more than change-ups consistency is important, which Chawla was today, and found success with."
Hardik was all praises for Suryakumar Yadav. He said, "SKY was unbelievable. More than him getting runs, him putting so much pressure on bowlers that even other batters get loose balls. He breaks you. He's evolved. Lucky to have him in my team. Hope to have many more such innings."
