Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first against Afghanistan in the third and last ODI of the three-match series on Monday (November 11) in Sharjah.
Bangladesh make two changes to their squad. One is forced as captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has been ruled out of the match due to groin injury. Zakir Hasan replaces him in the playing XI. Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim was ruled out of the series due to finger injury. Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead the side in Shanto's absence. The other change is pacer Nahid Rana comes in for Taskin Ahmed. This is Nahid Rana's debut match in ODIs.
On the other hand, Afghanistan have gone for the same XI for the match. That means they are playing with 4 spinners again- Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, AM Ghazanfar, and Nangeyalia Kharote. In the first ODI, Afghanistan picked up a commanding 92-run win with a fabulous show in bowling. While Bangladesh made a comeback in the second ODI and won the match by 68 runs to level the series.
