The selectors of Cricket Australia (CA) did not include Khawaja in the new contract this time. Marnus Labuschagne and Joe Burns have been added to Cricket Australia's 2020-2021 season. There are some more surprises in Cricket Australia's list of 20 members ahead of the 2020 Twenty20 World Cup and the upcoming Indian series in Australia next season. According to Hohns, it is not that Khawaja will not get a chance to play international cricket without a contract. The doors of the Australian team are open for this experienced batsman. The selectors have signed

for the 2020-2021 season, who was ruled out of the game due to mental health rest and elbow surgery last October. On the other hand, two top-order batsman Nicole Bolton and Elyse Villani have been dropped from the women's cricket contract. Fast bowler Tayla Vlaeminck and two all-rounders Tahlia McGrath and Annabel Sutherland have been signed.
