A big news shared by English Cricket Board has just surprised the cricket World.

The right-arm English speedster has joined the squad in India. England Cricket has officially posted this news on social media. Jofra Archer last time played a competitive cricket in Indian Premier League 2023. He only played five games in IPL and returned to his country dua to an elbow injury. Archer failed to recover him completely until the cut-off time for ODI world cup squad announcement and was not selected in the 15-member English squad.

Now, he reached in India and will continue his recovery with the squad. He will be training with the world cup squad. However, Archer can only provide his services to the team if someone gets injury and is replaced by him. He has still not been included in the travelling reserves officially, so he cannot play any match for the English team.  

Remember, 28-years old quick was part of the world cup winning team of English. He successfully defended 15 runs in the super over became England champions for the first time in ODI cricket history.
