The sixteenth season of the Indian Premier League is about to come to an end. The two best teams namely Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans defied the odds in their way and deservedly made it to the IPL final. Gujarat Titans reached the second consecutive IPL final by beating Mumbai Indians in 2nd qualifier.

Narendra Modi StadiumOn the other side of the coin, Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier by 15 runs and made it to the 10th final. CSK have won four IPL titles so far in the history of the competition. Besides that, they have made it to the playoffs twelve times in their 14 participating campaigns. 

Gujarat Titans were the champions of the IPL 2022 edition. They defeated Rajasthan Royals in the final to win their maiden title in their debut season, which is indeed a magnificent achievement. Hardik Pandya and Co will be looking forward to pulling off a masterful performance in the final after their defeat to CSK in 1st qualifier.

IPL fans complain about a roof leak at the Narendra Modi Stadium

Meanwhile, the IPL fans were totally unhappy about a roof leak at the world's largest cricket stadium - Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The IPL 2023 final turned out to be a disappointing day for the fans as the rain played spoilsport on match day.

Since the rain played spoilsport in the game, the final has been postponed to May 29, Monday. Some fans took to their Twitter handles and vented out their frustration. "People who are asking for closed-roof stadiums have a look at the pillars and roofs of the biggest stadium and the richest cricket board leaking," the Twitter user captioned the post.

"Poor experience. In the stadium and outing stadium too!! Allotted parking was under mud n became a swimming pool. The underdeveloped area beside the stadium," a Twitter user shared his terrible experience. “What an amazing experience I had today and this stadium wants to host the Wc final,” another user further added.
