Former RCB captain Virat Kohli hogged the limelight after he smashed a scintillating straight six off Naveen-ul-Haq's bowling during the 15th match of IPL 2024 between RCB and LSG at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli hits a six off Naveen-ul-HaqNaveen bowled a short-pitched ball to Kohli and the latter had enough time to launch the ball for a six. The video clip of the same has gone viral on the internet, with the majority of the users praising Kohli for his hit.

For the record, Kohli and Naveen were involved in a war of words in the IPL 2023 season. However, the duo settled the debate during the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. 

Now, both the players were spotted playing against each other in the recently-concluded game. Kohli sensationally hit his ball for a six.

Nevertheless, Kohli failed to capitalize on the start as he managed to score 22 runs including 2 fours and a six before falling prey to M Siddharth's bowling in the second ball of the fourth over. 

Talking about the game, LSG posted a competitive total of 181/5 in their quota of 20 overs. Quinton de Kock top-scored with 81 off 56 balls, laced with 8 fours and 5 sixes.

In response, RCB were bowled out for 153 runs. Mahipal Lomror who came in as an Impact player top-scored with 33 off 13 balls (3 fours, 3 sixes). On the other hand, Mayank Yadav who registered 3/14 in his quota of 4 overs was named the Man of the Match. 

After the game, Faf du Plessis, at the post-match presentation said, "Two very good players, Quinton de Kock when was on 25-30 and Nicky P was on 2, 60-65 extra runs, mistakes like that can cost you in the IPL. I didn't think we were very good with our bowling especially in the powerplay, Maxwell brought it back and there were some pleasing signs in the death overs. You need two guys to bat through and get a partnership which we were not able to do. We need the strong characters in the dressing room to put their hand up."
